Vivo V29 series India launch date confirmed, product gets listed on official website ahead of launch

Vivo V29 series is coming to India. Although Vivo has not confirmed the launch date yet, a teaser which appeared on the official website of the smartphone company has revealed the launch date. As per the microsite, Vivo V29 series, which includes Vivo V29 and the Vivo V29 Pro, will be launched in India on October 4.

When you visit Vivo.com and click on the “Know More” button on the “V29 Preheat” page, you’ll find a message saying, “Stay Tuned till We Meet on October 4.” This suggests that October 4th could be the launch date for the Vivo V29 series. The company has also shared some important details about the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro on their website, such as design, dimensions, color options, and camera features. Additionally, thanks to leaks and rumors, and the fact that the V29 is already available worldwide, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The Vivo V29e model has also been officially introduced. These phones are anticipated to be priced at less than Rs 40,000. The phones have already been released in the global market.

Vivo V29, Vivo V29 Pro: Specifications

Vivo’s upcoming V29 series smartphones are set to feature a distinctive 3D particle design on their bodies, with a slim 7.46mm thickness and weighing in at 186g. These stylish devices will be available in three attractive colors: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Vivo V29 Pro is equipped with a Sony IMX663 sensor for impressive portrait photography and a potential 12-megapixel ultrawide shooter. Additionally, it may sport a primary 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for high-quality photography, including Night Portraits with Aura Light and the Wedding Style Portrait feature for a captivating bokeh effect. The standard Vivo V29 could house a 50MP ISOCELL GN5 sensor from Samsung as its primary camera, complemented by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Both models are expected to boast a 50MP front-facing camera.
The display is likely to be a highlight, with the Pro model featuring a curved screen. The global version of the Vivo V29 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and HDR10+ support.

Under the hood, the Vivo V29 (global edition) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, ensuring smooth performance. The smartphones are anticipated to run on Android 13-based Funtouch OS.
In terms of battery life, the standard model could pack a 4,600mAh battery with rapid 80W charging capabilities.
Memory-wise, the global Vivo V29 offers options of 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, as well as a 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage. It’s likely that the Pro variant will come with similar memory configurations.
